 Call for Nominations — UWE Award 2026

Dear Presidents and CERs,

The UWE Board is pleased to announce the call for nominations for the UWE Award 2026. This award recognises an outstanding individual whose contribution enhances European matters in an innovative and meaningful way.

Eligibility Criteria

• The award may only be conferred upon a citizen of Europe.
• The nominated contribution must enhance European matters and demonstrate an innovative approach.
• Membership of UWE or GWI is not required. The award is intentionally outward-looking, open to any qualifying individual.
• Candidates may be proposed by any National Federation of Associations (NFA). The final award decision will be taken by the UWE Board by vote at a Board meeting.

Nomination Package

Each nomination must include the following documents:

1. Motivation letter — maximum 400 words, outlining the candidate’s contribution and its relevance to European matters.
2. Colour photograph — a recent portrait of the candidate.
3. Curriculum Vitae — a full CV of the candidate.

Nominations must be submitted no later than 15 July 2026. Please send all materials by email to: boarduwe@gmail.com.
