We envision a European community in which academic women participate fully and equally in public life, governance, and decision-making where education is the foundation of lasting change, and where the achievements of women are recognised as indispensable to a just, democratic, and united Europe.
Our mission
To unite, amplify, and advance the voice of university women across Europe.
The University Women of Europe connects graduate women’s associations and federations across Europe to advocate for gender equality, empower all women in positions of influence, and contribute to the goals of the Council of Europe. Through partnership, dialogue, and civic engagement, we work to ensure that educated women help shape the policies, institutions, and values that define European society.
