Graduate Women International (GWI) marks the start of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) with a campaign starting on November 25, that call on everyone – individuals, communities and institutions – to stand together and take action to end all forms of violence.

During the 16 days, GWI will focus on raising awareness, igniting conversations, and inspiring action by exploring 16 distinct forms of GBV and their impact on education. Grounded in the UN Declaration on the Elimination of Violence against women and graduate women expertise, the campaign show how violence – individual, structural and cultural – restricts rights, safety and learning opportunities. GWI affirms that ending GBV and securing safe, inclusive and equitable education are inseparable goals.

Each of the 16 posts will be categorized into three dimensions, represented by three colored bookmarks. Each post will feature one of the colored bookmarks below, corresponding dimension.
